Shred for the Cup is back bigger than ever this year and it starts this weekend. On Sunday, January 22, the first stop in the SFTC series will be poppin’ off with the Big Air. Unlike years past, the Big Air will take place under the hot sun, with registration from 9 – 11 am with a start time of 12pm sharp!
Remember every rider needs to register and sign a waiver form for the SFTC series. You can do this by making your way to the snowclub lounge during registration hours. Each rider will receive some food on the hill and a SFTC series shirt designed by SouthEast Snow’s Taylor Patterson.

If you have been to Appalachian Ski Mountain in the past few days you can tell these guys mean business. With several days of non stop snowmaking this place has mounds of snow. The Appal Jam terrain park is already being pushed for the event and the jumps are looking bigger and better than ever. With possibly the best landings ASM has ever seen!
Some local riders have really been stepping up there jump game the past few years and I think top gun Kris Jones has some worrying to do. Who knows, could an under dog steal the victory?
The only way to find out is to make an appearance yourself. Salomon Snowboards and Skis will be on hand alongside Recess Rideshop bringing riders a ton of great prizes. The Shred for the Cup is here people. Hope you have been practicing because the event series of the year is here!
See you on the slopes!
